Mom's Day Tea
The Millinocket Elks held their annual Mother's Day Tea on May 14th at
the lodge. During and after the ceremony, we were treated to some very
nice music performed by Stearns High School Band director- Chris Vigue
and two of her students; Emily Waller and Caitlin Michaud. We also heard from Master Sergeant Karri
Bennett of the Maine Army National Guard and what Mother's Day means
to her. A very nice luncheon was served by Jean, Donna, Valerie,
Neanie and Joyce. We don't know what we would do without these ladies
who are also mothers. A very big thanks goes out to Wayne Scarano for
the job he did putting together this excellent program and to the
Millinocket Lodge officers for their performance of the ceremony. Here
are some pictures of the day, I hope you enjoy them.
