Veteran's Appreciation Lunch
On November 11, 2006, The Millinocket Elks put on their Annual Veteran's Appreciation Lunch. This is just a small token of appreciation as we try to try to show the veterans from our area how much we really do appreciate what they did for us in protecting our freedom, our rights and our lives. Once again we had an outstanding lunch made by Donna, Jean, Neanie, Valerie, Red , Joyce and anybody else that did contribute. The Backdoor Dance Studio's " Zoot Suit Revue " once again entertained everyone there with a highly energetic show. We also had some veteran's from the Togus Veteran's Hospital again this year visiting with us. Terry Olson of the Togus Veteran's Hospital was honored with a plaque from the Millinocket Elks for the outstanding work she does with the Togus Veterans. I don't know many of the names, but I did enjoy taking the pictures. Thank you to Dave Van Dine for the job he did putting this together.
