KID'S DAY 2009
10 years, 11 Kid's Days
and we still get very nervous about how we have done getting ready for
the Saturday before the 4th of July. We debated over the weather
and decided it was a go. 570 people came to Jerry Pond this year in
spite of the weather, 303 were kids who were looking for a good time
and from the looks on their faces, they did. Thanks to the
Rotary and the "American Loggers", also known as the
Pelletier Boys, we had a new and expanded parking lot to make it
easier for people to get to the pond. Plans are already being made for
next year's Kid's Day and we hope it will at least match this years
and all the other years we have been bringing Kid's Day to the
Katahdin Area. THANK YOU to all of the workers, without you, we
could not have done as good a job as was done. Enjoy the pictures.
