HOOP SHOOT 2005

The Millinocket Elks held their annual Hoop Shoot on Saturday, December 3rd. 

This was the Lodge area shoot which had the winners from the different school in 

he Millinocket Elks Area. It was a fun event and was well run by Mr. Dan Hannafin a

nd his crew. The kids were outstanding and fun to work with. They do know what t

hey are doing with a basketball. A round of applause and a big thanks to the kids 

and their parents for being there and competing. I didn't get any pictures during the actual shooting so I wouldn't distract the shooters.

The winners were: Megan Merry, 10-11 year old girl- Katahdin Elementary

Olivia McNally, 12-13 year old girl- Katahdin High School

Zack Hartley, 8-9 year old boy- Granite Street School

Chad "the REAL" McKoy, 10-11 year old boy- Millinocket Middle School

Ryan Thompson, 12-13 year old Boy- Medway Middle School
